The Truck

This is a very old picture. I'm not exactly sure, but it's either 9 or 10 years old. Compositionally it's fairly pedestrian. But the important thing is that it was shot on a very old, manual focus, film SLR, with a prime lens. I developed the film, enlarged, and printed it myself. This is a scan from a 6x4 print that I made in either 2002 or 2003. For some reason I did not do very well in the high school photography class that I took this picture in. It's a crying shame really, because I would like to think I was pretty talented, but the popular kids hogged the equpiment pretty bad. Anyway, sometimes you have to look back to look forward. Although I took a long time off Photography, I really do think that learning how to do everything the old fashioned way is one of the things that sets me apart from other photographers who have only ever worked with digital.

EDIT: WATERMARK ADDED IN LIGHTROOM CAUSE I HATE PEOPLE TAKING MY SHIT.

Sunset

The sky looked like this for less than a minute. There wasn't even time to get downstairs.

KITTEN

Kitten was not impressed with having a camera shoved in its face.

Jasmine

Just a few shots of a pal I took yesterday. I'm enjoying the 135L a lot.

Kookaburra

I was in the middle of a portrait shoot when I spotted this little guy, I wish I had a longer lens on me but I was using a 135mm prime.

Oh well, I managed to get pretty close.

Captive

I walk past these dogs every day and it breaks my heart to see such amazing animals kept in such a barren crappy yard.
